Hi there. Your friendly neighborhood boyfriend here: I’ve spent the last ~30 hours with Kiba at the hospital and have been dispatched to update everyone on how she is doing. She gave me her loginfo, but did not indicate cases for her password, so we’re using my account instead. Only a few of you have friended me, so I’d appreciate it if those of you that do see this (Tralf, Erin-My-Computer-Literate-Doppelganger, etc.) would pass the word on to everyone else.

Anyway, without further ado:


"So I'm in the hospital and Will is going to post this for me. Long story made slightly shorter:

pseudokiwi and I went to my doctor and I described my symptoms and told her I thought it was my gall bladder. She did a blood test because she was afraid it was my appendix. She saw I had a high white blood cell count (18.3. 4-8 is normal) and sent me to the ER. At the ER they did a CT scan and found my gall bladder was very enflamed and I have a big, honkin' gallstone. They admitted me to the hospital. An idea of the timetable: I got here around 1; I had the CT scan around 6; Will came to see me so pseudokiwi could leave; I got a room around 11:30p.m.

I'll be having surgery tomorrow (Friday) or Saturday to have my gall bladder removed. This is good; as it's a surgery I've wanted for a long time. I'm on antibiotics and saline; I haven't had anything to eat or drink in about 36 hours.

Otherwise, I'm doing very well. So don't worry, be happy!"
